FIFA approves Rashid’s participation with Iraqi Team

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Players’ Affairs Committee within the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) approved the request of the Iraqi Football Association (IFA) to transfer the file of the Iraqi player Osama Jabbar Rashid from the Dutch Federation for the IFA.

The Secretary General of IFA Tariq Ahmed stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Sunday “FIFA informed us about its permission to allow the above mentioned player to Iraqi teams,” noting that “We also informed the Coach of the Iraqi Team Zico about this decision to invite Rashid to join the training course of the Iraqi Team to be held in Turkey next week.”

Osama Rashid is an Iraqi professional player who plays for Feynoord Rotterdam Club and now he signed for FCD Bouch Club in Holland.

He left playing for the Dutch in order to play with the Iraqi National Team.

Osama was born in 10/13/1992 in Kirkuk and comes from a Kurdish family which was forced to depart Iraq when he was three years old.
