Falah Hassan: Minister of Transportation promises to cover Zawra’s expenses in AFC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Head of Zawra FC Administrative Board Falah Hassan announced that “Minister of Transport Hadi al-Amiry promised to cover all of the expenses of Zawra FC’s participation in the Asian Football Cup AFC.”

Falah Hassan said in a statement to (IraqiNews.com) that “We thanks and gratitude the Minister’s of Transport for his unlimited support for Zawra football team which participating in the AFC.”

“The Minister supported the team in Iraqi Football Premier League and provided unlimited support to make the team’s participation in the Asian Football Cup,” pointing out that “Zawra team will leave next Sunday to the Jordanian capital, Amman, to play Al Jaysh Syrian team,” Hassan added.

Zawra FC is playing in the Fifth Group of the AFC along with Syrian Al Jaysh FC, Yemeni Al Tillal FC, Lebanon Al Safa’a. Zawra will start the first matches of the group with Syrian Al Jaysh FC next Tuesday.
