Baghdad Mayorship, Dutch company discuss increasing green areas in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Mayorship discussed with a Dutch company prospects of cooperation to establish nurseries and greenhouses to increase the number of plants that suit the climate and the nature of the Iraqi capital Baghdad. A statement by the BM mentioned “The Parks and Landscapes Directorate organized a workshop attended by representatives of the Dutch (Lima) Company and the Commercial Attaché of the Dutch Embassy in Baghdad as well as a number of engineering and agrarian staff in the Parks Directorate where the Company introduced a presentation about the latest methods and technologies used in the production and multiplication of seasonal and domestic plants.” The statement added “Baghdad Mayorship intends to increase the green areas in the Capital, Baghdad, through cooperation with specialized compnaies.”
