Health Ministry signs Intercountry Cooperation Strategy in Amman

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Health signed the Intercountry Cooperation Strategy with World Health Organization in the Jordanian capital, Amman. A statement by the Ministry mentioned “The Intercountry Cooperation Strategy conducted with the WHO in Amman with attendance of the Health Minister Majeed Hameed Ameen and other officials of the Ministry.” “A number of amendments were conducted on the original draft of the Agreement in coordination with the Organization,” according to the statement. The statement clarified that “The Intercountry Cooperation Strategy aims at improving the medical, preventive and curative services in the country according to the concepts of primary health care and to strengthen the health system as well.”
