Ninewa-Casualties NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: The death toll from the car bomb explosion in Mosul rose to 17 deaths, while 37 were wounded, a police source said. “The suicide bomb attack that targeted a police vehicle patrol in Mosul al-Jadieda region in western Mosul rose to 17 deaths and 37 wounded including three policemen,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The first car bomb explosion was followed by another booby-trapped car explosion near the first explosion targeting civilians who gathered in the area,” he explained. A police source had said earlier casualties from the car bomb explosions that ripped through western Mosul city earlier today have reached 52.
