MoE launches campaign to eliminate abuses on national electricity grid

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Directorate General of Transferring Electricity Energy within the Ministry of Electricity, implemented campaigns to address the abuses on the national power grid through coordinating with Baghdad Operations Command, Rusafa Branch, where these campaigns covered neighborhoods of Adhamiya, Karrada, al-Qahira and Zafaraniya. A statement by the MoE mentioned “The campaign monitored (180) abuse cases and confiscated 700 meters of electricity cables that used in the violation on the national power network.” “The directorate also conducted campaign to rehabilitate, erect and replace the damaged electric transformers in the capital Baghdad,” the statement added.
