Agriculture Minister meets Brazilian Ambassador

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Agriculture, Iz al-Dean al-Dawla, discussed with the Brazilian Ambassador to Iraq, Anwar Nahas, and the First Secretary at the Embassy of Brazil, Pablo Romero, “The means to promote the agricultural cooperation between the two countries.”

The Minister of the Agriculture reported in statement to IraqiNews.com that ”The Minister of Agriculture recieved the Brazilian Ambassador at his office in Baghdad.”‘

The statement added that ”The Minister of Agriculture confirmed during the meeting, the desire of the two countries to cooperate in transporting the experience in the filed of the agricultural technology because it is an advanced method in the agriculture management.”

The statement pointed out ”The Minister assured that the Ministry welcomes all the helpful side which may contribute in serving and accomplishing the ambitions of the Iraqis.”

The statement quoted the Brazilian Ambassador as ”Expressing his gratitude to the Iraqi Minister for holding this important meeting, adding that ”There are two reasons behind his attendance first of all because he represent the diplomatic field and secondly that his country is an agricultural country,” noting that “Brazil takes basic role in the fields of the agricultural technology and the social development.”
