Cleansing operations starts in Babel province

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The Babel Irrigation Department announced that “It will start the annual cleaning process for the banks of the river by lift the sediment mud from the river and bringing the water movement to its previous condition.”

The Director of the Irrigation Department, Najem al-Husseini, reported in statement to IraqiNews.com that “The Department developed plan to accomplish cleaning the rivers within the two next weeks by using the dredgers devices which the directorate owns.”

Al-Husseini added ”The cleaning operations will be launched from Jibla area of northern Hilla until Showmaly district of southern the province.”
