MoHE declares Japanese scholarships

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the availability of scholarships presented from the Japanese Ministries of Education, Sports, Science and Technology to obtain Master degree in the fields of scientific and human specialties for the academic year 2013-2014.

The General Director of Missions and Culture Relations Dr. Waleed Mohamed Amen mentioned in statement to IraqiNews.com on Thursday that “The Japanese Government has granted several scholarships to Iraq to obtain Master degree for all scientific and human specialties.”

The statement added that “The Director called all the Iraqi universities to present their nominees based on their scientific background and to adopt the principle of competition in selecting nominees according to a form presented by the students who desire to obtain scholarships.”

The statement pointed out that “The nominated students will not be accepted until they initially accepted by the Embassy through submitting official documents and the written examination,” noting that “The nomination request must include the scientific title, and career service, average of academic grades and the age of the student.”

The statement confirmed that “The last date for submitting applications will be on Sunday 10th /June/ 2012 and the interview will be at the Directorate on Monday 11/June/2012 otherwise they will lose their right for nomination.”
