Senior Dutch delegation visits Basra soon

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Basra Investment Commission announced preparing to hold wide business meeting with a senior Dutch economic delegation which will visit Basra on the beginning of next June.

A Dutch economic delegation headed by the Dutch Charge d’affaires in Iraq, Lars Tomers, has visited the headquarter of Basra Investment Commission.

The delegation was accompanied by representatives from major Dutch companies which are specialized in the fields of Energy, Oil, agriculture and industry.

The Head of Basra Investment Commission Khalf al-Badran stated in press statement “We discussed with the Dutch delegation the investment reality in Basra and how to promote the common cooperation to encourage the Dutch companies to obtain investment opportunities on their specialization.”

The statement added “The Commission will prepare field trips for the Dutch delegation in the areas of Basra and the most important locations for investment in the province.”
