Babel Governor: Babel needs more than 400 new schools

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Babel Governor Mohammed al-Masoudi announced that the province is experiencing a significant shortage in the number of schools buildings where the province “needs more than 400 schools across the province especially in the center.” Masoudi cited “Building these schools needs the total budget of the province for three years at least, therefore Babel Governorate demanded the Ministry of Education and the Council of Ministers to allocate funds to build these schools.” He added “In case of ratifying the Infrastructure Law which includes terms over building 4,000 schools throughout Iraq, then the Babel’s share will be 300 schools.”
