Sadr urges to find missing traffic officers

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, called, in response to a complaint by a citizen about the missing traffic officers, to find the missing Traffic police officers. Sadr said that he has received a complaint from a citizen named, Sabah Hassan Ghulam, whose brother works as a traffic police officer in Karada neighborhood, noting that “Ghulam said that while my brother was performing his duty he monitored a traffic violation and decided to fine the driver of the vehicle but the driver got out of the car and slapped my brother as well as four of traffic IPs driving them to unknown place.” Ghulam added “After asking about the driver, we discovered that the owner of the car is the son of an officer called, Abdul Mahdi Hassan, who works as a accountant for the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.” “My brother and the other IPs are missing since then as we do not know anything about them, despite the fact that we informed the MPs Hakim al-Zamili and Maha al-Douri who did not do anything.” Sadr concluded “If this story is real, it is a disaster and the security authorities must find them immediately… otherwise this is the beginning of the deterioration.”
