Police officer killed in Mosul

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: A police officer was killed by unidentified gunmen fire in central Mosul city on Thursday, a security source in Ninewa said. “Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Thursday at an Iraqi police officer in the rank of captain while heading from his patrol to a store in the area of al-Burj Khana, central Mosul, killing him instantly,” the source told IraqiNews.com. “The gunmen then escaped to an unknown place,” the source added, not revealing more details.
