Wassit (IraqiNews.com) Dozens of Badra district’s residents in Wassit province demonstrated on the road that leads to Zurbatiya border post on Saturday, demanding to combat the financial and administrative corruption in the border port.
The correspondent of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), reported, on Saturday “A demonstration for Badra inhabitants has sat out since early morning in front of Zurbatiya border port, demanding to fight the financial and administrative corruption in the earlier mentioned border port.”
The reporter mentioned that “The demonstrators carried signs demanding to remove the gravel quarries from al-Kallab River since these quarries resulted in blocking the riverbed.”
He added “The demonstrators also demanded to take care of the international Street which links Zurbatiya border post with Kut city.”
