16 nabbed in Missan

MISSAN / IraqiNews.com: Sixteen men wanted on criminal charges were arrested in operations conducted in different areas of the city of al-Amara on Sunday, according to the Missan police information chief. “Forces from the Missan Emergency Department today arrested 16 men wanted on different criminal scores in Amara,” Col. Sadeq Sallam told IraqiNews.com. “The arrests took place upon intelligence tip-offs and local residents’ collaboration,” Sallam added. Amara, the capital city of Missan, lies 390 km south of Baghdad.
