121 prisoners released from Kurdistan jails on Eid

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: A total of 121 prisoners were released from jail in Iraq’s Kurdistan region on the eve of Eidul-Adha, or the Greater Bairam. “On Sunday, the president of the Kurdistan region, Massoud al-Barzani, granted pardon to 121 prisoners on the occasion of Eidul Adha,” according to a presidential statement received by IraqiNews.com. “The pardon includes prisoners in the social reform departments in Arbil, Sulaimaniya and Duhuk, and the Public Security Department in the region,”  the statement added.
