Babel Municipality Directorate calls for more jurisdiction

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Babel Municipality Directorate called the activation the decisions of the Council of Ministers to grant more jurisdictions to the heads of the Administrative Units to take the needed legal action against those who trespassed the utilities projects.

The head of Babel Municipality Directorate Hameed Ajrash said to (IraqiNews.com) on Friday that “Most of the problem facing rain water’s drainage networks in the province are the result of citizen’s trespassing on the government’s water network.”

“There are pumps of [1000] cubic meters per hour working despite the lack of rainfall in winter season because of the citizen’s use of the rain water drainage networks for the domestic uses,” Ajrash added.
