Diwaniya police seize 50 IEDs

DIWANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Policemen in Diwaniya seized a cache that contained 50 improvised explosive devices (IEDs) in a search raid on a residential neighborhood south of the city, the province’s police information chief said. “Policemen conducted a raid on al-Askari neighborhood, south of Diwaniya, where they seized 50 IEDs inside a depot close to the Technical Institute in the city,” the source told IraqiNews.com.
