Ramadan furlough declared for each thursday

BAGHDAD (IraqiNews.com): The Iraqi government declared that each Thursday during the fasting month of Ramadan shall be a day off of work.

The coming holidays shall be on the 2nd, 9th and 16th days of August. The underlying reason for the holidays is to provide relief from the heat wave throughout the country that has reached 53 Celsius and due to the lack of power generation in all Iraqi provinces.
