19 Wanted individuals arrested in Babel

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The security forces in Babel province arrested 19 wanted persons according to the article (4) of Anti- Terrorism law in Babel province.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “The security forces conducted a search-raid operation in Jurf-il-Sakhar district resulted in arresting 19 wanted individuals,” noting that “One of the detainees was a woman.”

The source added “The security forces seized, during the raid-search operation, weapons and ammunition as well as stamps belong to the former Baath party.”

The source pointed out that “The security forces referred the detainees to the judicial authorities for investigation and lifted the weapons and ammunition to keep them under custody.” \
