Weapons, ammunition seized in Thi-Qar

Nassiriya-Weapons THI-QAR / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Monday arrested amounts of weapons and ammunition during a crackdown operation in south of Nassiriya city, the media spokesman for the Thi-Qar police department said. “Acting on a tip, the 3rd emergency police force waged a security raid in al-Shioukh market in south of Nassiriya,” Major Nasser al-Majedi told IraqiNews.com. “The forces seized two rockets, 10 hand grenades, 11 anti-bullets shields and different kinds of explosives and ammunitions,” he explained.
