Harbi to hold press conference over circumstances of his imprisonment
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The leader within the Iraqi National Front, Najim al-Harbi, who was released from the detention on last Wednesday after being detained for more than two years on charges of terrorism, will hold a press conference over the circumstance of his imprisonment.”
A source from the Iraqiya Slate stated to IraqiNews.com “Harbi will hold a press conference later on Thursday to expose the reason behind arresting him,” noting that “He will praise the efforts of The Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, to release him.”
“The judicial decision over releasing Harbi, who is accused of committing 28 cases, was issued on 5th of last April but it was implemented only last Wednesday,” the source added.
Earlier, the security forces in Diyala province released the candidate of the Iraqiya Slate in the province, Najm al-Harbi, after proving innocent from charges of terrorism on last Wednesday.
