50 new Hammers to Karbala police

KARBALA / IraqiNews.com: The Premier of Iraq Nouri al-Maliki agreed to provide Karbala police command with 50 new Hummer vehicles, Karbala police commander said on Tuesday. “This would increase the combat ability of the command’s policemen,” Staff General Ali Jasim Mohammed told IraqiNews.com. He did not mention further details, but noted “the vehicles will be distributed on Karbala emergency contingents as soon as they would be received.” The holy city of Karbala lies 110 km southwest of Baghdad.
