Urgent – Salih arrives in Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The former Prime Minister, of Kurdistan Region and the Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan , Barham Salih arrived in Baghdad with a Kurdish initiative to settle the crisis between the central government and Kurdistan Region.

Informed sources stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday “Salih will meet the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, and some key officials to discuss the current crisis between Kurdistan Region and the central government.”

The sources expected that “Salih to have a Kurdish initiative from the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to settle the crisis.”
