Kurdistan RegionG discusses possibility of reducing authorities to distribute them to provinces

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The Council of Minister of Kurdistan Region in its meeting held on Monday headed by the Prime Minister of Kurdistan Region, Nijirvan Barzani, and in presence of the Deputy Premier, Amad Ahad, The Finance Minister and some key officials, discussed the possibility of reducing its authorities and granting them to the provinces of Kurdistan Region.

A statement by Kurdistan RegionG received by IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “The meeting discussed the issue of the borders of the provinces in addition to the suggestions of the settling the troubles by transferring the authorities to the provinces in order to eliminate the routine followed while conducting the citizens’ issues.”

“The meeting has accepted the suggestions of the provinces over settling the citizens’ issues over owning the agricultural lands in addition to conducting the service projects and notify the ministers to cooperate with the governors to set a law draft to be submitted to the CoM,” the statement concluded.
