2 Integrity Commission members arrested for corruption !!

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Patrols of the Integrity Commission arrested two members in the electricity generators committee in Nineveh province on blackmail charges.

The Integrity Commission reported in a statement to IraqiNews.com that ”A citizen submitted a complaint to report that the members of the electricity committee demanded him to pay a bribe in return of completing the report of his generator in Namrood area.”

The statement added that ”The patrols arrested those two employees red-handed when they were receiving the bribe from the citizen,” noting that “The investigation judge of the Integrity Commission ordered to arrest them and issued a decree to arrest the third member of the Commission.”

Earlier, unidentified gunmen assassinated investigator of the Integrity Commission in Nineveh Investigations Bureau in front of his house. \
