Foodstuff prices stable as Eid approaches – Sulaimaniya mayor

SULAIMANIYA / IraqiNews.com: Prices of foodstuffs and commodities on the markets in the Kurdish city of al-Sulaimaniya are stable as the Eidul-Adha holiday approaches. “The sellers are committed to the prices set by the mayoralty for commodities and foodstuffs,” Zana Mohammed Saleh told IraqiNews.com. He added that the province’s control committees are monitoring the merchants’ commitment to the set prices, noting any violations by stores would be severely punished by closure until after the Eid holidays.
