Barzani stresses necessity of unifying Kurdish stances to face challenges

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, stressed the necessity of preserving the strategic pact between the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan and the Kurdistani Democratic Party and unifying the stances of the Kurdistani political blocs to face the challenges.

A statement by the media center of the PUK received by IraqiNews.com on Thursday “A delegation from the political office of the PUK comprising Kosrat Rasoul, the First Deputy Secretary General of the PUK and Mula Bakhtiyar the official of the General Committee of the political office of the PUK in addition to some other key officials, has visited Barzani to congratulate him on the occasion of the foundation of the KDP.”

“The delegation wished the development and prosperity to the KDP, assuring the necessity of unifying the stances of the Kurdish blocs and develop the strategic alliance between the PUK and the KDP,” the statement added.
