MoMD calls Iraqis in Aleppo to prepare for evacuation
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Migration and Displacement called the Iraqis living in the Syrian city, Aleppo, to contact the Iraqi Consulate to evacuate them quickly from Syria.
A statement by the Ministry cited “We invite the Iraqi people residing in Aleppo to check out the measures of their return at the Consulate or Golden Star Company for Travel and Tourism in order to speed up their evacuation as soon as possible.”
The Council of Ministers has decided earlier, on last July, 24th to allocate IQD 50 billon from the emergency reserves to the MoMD to cover the financial grants for Iraqis coming from Syria and ensure the requirements of the camps set to the Syrian refugees.
The past days witnessed the return of thousands of the Iraqis living in Syria through the border crossings on the background of the violence in Syria.
