Sayhoud expects political initiatives over tensions between Kurdistan Region, central government
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Mohammed al-Sayhoud, of the State of Law Coalition expected “The political tensions between Kurdistan Region and the central government will witness political initiatives according to the size of the tensions.”
Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” The tensions between the two sides are not that much difficult in this time due to the visit of the former Prime Minister, of Kurdistani Regional Government and the Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih to Baghdad which participated in overcoming the obstacles between the two sides.”
“The meetings conducted by Salih with the Iraqi officials in the central government were good and participated in brining the various views closer,” he concluded.
Earlier, the former Prime Minister, of Kurdistani Regional Government and the Deputy Secretary General of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, Barham Salih has visited Baghdad to meet the political officials and then traveled to Germany to meet the President, Jalal Talabani to inform him about the results of his visit.
