Rasoul, Othman discuss latest updates in Iraq, region

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President of Kurdistan Region, Kosrat Rasoul, discussed with MP, Mahmoud Othman, of the Kurdistani Alliance, the latest updates in Iraq and the region.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan received by IraqiNews.com, cited “Rasoul met Othman and some officials of the Tahririya Movement for Kurdistan where he assured the necessity of unifying the stances to all the political blocs in Kurdistan Region in addition to unifying the political statements.”

“The two sides discussed the tensions between Kurdistan Region and the central government in addition to the means of settling them through dialogue,” the statement added.

“Rasoul has also discussed with the Iranian consul the mutual relations and the role of Iran in the regional developments,” the statement concluded.
