Araji, Sadr discuss political crises in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A delegation of al-Ahrar bloc headed by, Baha al-Araji, discussed with clergyman, Hussein al-Sadr, the political crises in Iraq.

A statement by al-Ahrar bloc received by IraqiNews.com on Sunday “The delegation of al-Ahrar bloc comprises Jaafar al-Mosawi, Amiri al-Absi, Jawad al-Sihail, Riyadh Ghali, Jawad al-Jouburi, Amir al-Kinani and Ali al-Timimi, has visited al-Sadr in al-Kadhimiya city in Baghdad.”

“The two sides discusses the problems in Iraq in the political, security and service levels where Sadr expressed his concerns over the problems of the people and his opinions over settling them,” the statement added.

“The delegation showed the consequences of the problems and the mechanisms that must be followed to settle them,” the statement pointed out.

The statement quoted Araji, as saying “Sadr complained over the non adherence of the political blocs to the recommendations of the religious authorities and how the religious authorities reduced their support to them.”

“Sadr appreciated the national stances of al-Ahrar bloc that was the reason behind the withdrawal of the US Forces from Iraq,” he concluded.
