IS MP: Maliki tries to attract Sunni people to support him next elections

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Wihda al-Jumaili, of the Iraqiya Slate accused the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, of attempting to attract the Sunni people in order to support him in the next elections.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said ” The first beneficiary side from the current crisis is Maliki himself because each crisis happen is accompanied by a reaction against it in different ways either by evidences or the eloquence which has its effect on the Iraqi people especially the Shiite people in addition to the attempts by Maliki to attract the Sunni people to support him in the next elections.”

“There is no winner in the political crisis and all the political blocs failed to achieve any positive results to the Iraqi people such as the lack of services,” she added, noting that “To be fair, the security situation has improved, but the state transferred into a security state and not a civil one.”
