Constructional sector to be receded within next few years, says Yasiri

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Yasir al-Yasiri, of the State of Law Coalition expected that “The constructional sector to be receded within the next few years due to the lack of the strategic plan to develop it.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Not only the constructional sector will be receded, but all the industrial and serve sectors have began to recede due to the governmental neglecting to them and the lack of the real interest in developing them.”

“What was mentioned in the investment law draft to develop the constructional sector to serve the citizens was in papers only,” he added.

“The constructional sector will continue to recede because there are no real steps to develop it compared to Kurdistan Region and the neighboring countries where there are future plans to develop it,” he pointed out.

“If Iraq did not change its policy regarding the constructional sector, it will not develop without setting a vision and strategy to save the constructional sector from its current situation,” he concluded.
