SLC MP describes Reforms Document as \"not final\"

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The State of Law Coalition’s MP Adil al-Shirshab described the reforms document adopted by the Iraqi national Alliance as “not final.”

In a statement to the Iraqi News, he said “The INA, represented by its head Ibrahim al-Jaafary, conducts a series of calls and discussions will all political blocs and I think all sides have satisfactions over the situation now which tends towards calming down,” noting that “The Reforms Document represents a vision of the INA as the largest bloc and the leader of the political process rather than a final form.”

“The INA takes into consideration the initiative of the Iraqi President and Erbil Document as well as the results of Najaf and Erbil meetings since the reforms should be the responsibility of all blocs rather than a certain bloc,” he stressed.

The SLC MP expected that “The crisis is heading towards calming down and dialogue since all sides have tried all other possible procedures including withdrawing confidence and investigating the Premier but the results were failure due to constitutional or practical hurdles.”

“The blocs and political sides only have dialogue as a means to relief the current crisis and eliminate pending issues,” MP Shirshab concluded.
