16 Persons killed, injured in 2 incidents in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) Three persons were killed while five others were injured due to a traffic accident on Kirkuk-Baghdad highway.

The Office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan reported that ”Two cars have crashed at the road linking between Doz and Daquq districts on Tuesday and the accident resulted in killing three persons and injuring five others,” noting that “Two of the injuries are children.”

Earlier, a police source declared that ”Eight persons were seriously injured on Monday when two vehicles crashed on Doz-Daquq road.”

The source added that ”The experts attributed the traffic accidents to the bad condition of the outdated roads in this area.” \
