Kurds welcome Obama’s presidency
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Kurdistan’s regional government on Wednesday welcomed Barack Obama’s victory in the U.S. presidential elections, stressing good relations between Kurds and America. “Kurdistan’s government welcomes the U.S. people’s decision to elect Obama,” Falah Mustafa, head of the regional government’s foreign relations told IraqiNews.com. “We stress good relations between the two sides,” he said. “U.S. policy toward the Kurds will not change during the new U.S. presidency, but we think that the U.S. policy will be changed toward Iraq,” he added.
