End of crisis to clarify stances, says Laban
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The State of Law Coalition’s MP Sadiq al-Laban pointed out that “The end of the current crisis will reveal the blocs which are working for the benefit of Iraq and those which create crises to hurdle political crisis.”
“Those who set the hurdles in front of the political process represent foreign agendas and do not care about the Iraqi people’s interests,” Laban stated to Iraqi News.
“All the blocs will be invited to set the final touches on the comprehensive the reforms document which will be the fertile land for holding the National Meeting after the Eid al-Fitr vacation and return of the Iraqi President Talabani from Germany,” he added.
MP Laban assured that “The Iraqi National Alliance will invite political blocs to attend a preparatory meeting to follow the mutual and bilateral meetings among the blocs that would be scheduled later.”
“We assume that many blocs will respond positively to this invitation and will attend the meeting because they are convinced that only the National meeting will be the way out for the current crisis after failure of other attempts for other settlements,” he concluded.
