Closing bridge kills fetus in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) A mother lost her fetus due to the arrogant behaviors of the security elements in Basra province.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com that ”The security elements prevented a vehicle, which carries a woman at birth condition, from crossing over Tanuma Bridge, justifying this behavior by waiting for obtaining the approval from security commands to allow the vehicle to cross the bridge,” noting that “This waiting period resulted in complications for the mother that caused the fetus death.”

The security forces in Basra province closed Tanuma Bridge on Wednesday after being inaugurated by the local government in Basra province a short while ago. \
