Tigris bridge to link Duhuk to Ninewa
ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The bridge of Sehila over the river Tigris, to link the provinces of Duhuk and Ninewa, will be finalized within two and half months at the most, according to a statement by the Kurdistan Region Government Kurdistan RegionG) on Sunday. “The linking will take place in the areas of Sinjar and Zammar, both in Ninewa province, and will cost $13 million,” Ibrahim Ahmed Amin, the Duhuk province’s roads and bridges department, was quoted in the statement that was received by IraqiNews.com. “The bridge, which will stretch for 453 meters with a width of 8.5 meters, is of great importance as it will link between the Iraqi Kurdistan region and the Rubaiea crossing on the Iraqi-Syrian borders,” Amin said.
