Several persons arrested in Erbil

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Several persons were arrested on different charges in Erbil province.

The Commander of Erbil Police Department Brigadier, Abdul Khaleq Talatt, was quoted by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan as saying that ”Five persons were arrested on murder charges according to the article (406) of the Iraqi law.”

He added that ”The security forces arrested several persons, including four Arab citizens, on robbery charges according to the law article (442) related to robbery ,” noting that “One of the detainees confessed stealing houses in Havan neighborhood of Erbil province.”

He pointed out that ”The detainees admitted stealing money and gold jewelries from houses on Erbil province and they arrested according to articles (442 and 443) .”
