Sulaimaniya hosts 20 000 tourists

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) According to statistics issued by Asayish center in Sulaimaniya province, about 20,000 tourists have arrived from different Iraqi provinces to Sulaimaniya.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan quoted, Zamnako Omar, an official of the Asayish center, as saying ”The number of the tourists coming from various Iraqi provinces has exceeded 20,000 persons to spend the vocation of Eid -al-Fitr in the tourist facilities and places in Sulaimaniya province.”

Omer stated that ”A special committee received the tourists and conducted all necessary security procedures to prevent any security breaches.”
