IED explodes in Diyala

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded in Diyala province on Friday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED exploded targeting a police patrol near mosque in central Baquba city,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing and injuring a number of policemen.”

The source did not clarify the number of the casualties, noting that “The dead bodies were sent to the morgue while the injured were transferred to the hospital for treatment.”
