Araji: Sadr city bombing aims at arousing sectarian sedition

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Ahrar bloc, Baha al-Araji, pointed out that “The terrorist bombing that targeted the persons, who was performing Friday prayer in Sadr City on last Friday, aimed at arousing the sectarian sedition.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We condemn this terrorist attack which aims at agitating sectarianism,” noting that “Iraqis became aware of this plot which the occupier planted while the terrorists as well as the Saddamists are still consolidating it to bring failure for the political process and to get the deterioration back to Iraq.”

Earlier, two explosions took place in Sadr city, the first explosion targeted the people who are performing the prayer of Friday, and the second explosion took place near the office of Martyr Mohamed Sadiq al-Sadr of eastern Baghdad. \
