Alwani urges for comprehensive reforms
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqiya Slate’s MP Khalid al-Alwani assured that “Iraqis need comprehensive reforms on different aspects of life rather than special reforms to suit certain bloc of figure,” describing the reforms submitted by the Iraqi National Alliance as worthless.”
In a statement to Iraqi News, he said “The investigation issue, whether connected to Premier Maliki or others, is necessary to discuss the pending issues which hurdle the political process as well as security situation,” holding “The premier Nouri al-Maliki responsible for the recent security deterioration since he is the Commanding General of the Iraqi Security Forces.”
Alwani of Anbar province clarified that “The investigation issue is postponed to wait for reforms promised by the INA,” stressing that “Investigation process is constitutional right.”
