Detainee passed away in Nineveh Anti-Terrorism Department

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A detainee in the prison of Anti-Terrorism Department died for natural reasons in Nineveh province.

A medical source in Nineveh Health Department reported to IraqiNews.com that ”The morgue department received a corpse belongs to a detainee who has died inside the prison of Nineveh Anti-Terrorism Department.”

The source added “After examining the corpse, we discovered that the detainee died for natural reasons.”

The source pointed out that ”The medical and forensic examinations did not discover any torture signs on the corpse,” attributing the cause of death to diseases.
