Urgent – .officer assassinated in northeastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Unidentified gunmen assassinated an officer in the Ministry of Interior in northeastern Baghdad.

A security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) that “Unidentified gunmen opened fire by mute weapons on the officer, Abdul Muhsen Khazal who was working in the Border Forces Command related to the MoI, shot him dead while he was driving his car on Muthanna bridge in northeastern Baghdad.”

“The gunmen managed to flee to unknown destination. The police transformed the dead body to the morgue and launched investigations about the incident,” the source added.
