PM stresses support for agricultural sector

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki on Wednesday highlighted the need for diagnosing obstacles to agricultural development in the country, stressing his government’s keenness to make rapid progress in the field. “Today, the premier presided over a meeting by the Higher Committee on Agricultural Initiative and attended by the minister of agriculture, Ali al-Bahadili, and the minister of water resources, Abdellateef Jamal Rasheed,” according to a statement released by Maliki’s office and received by IraqiNews.com.
