116 Iraqi students obtain Russian scholarships

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced obtaining the final approvals to grant Russian scholarships for (118) nominated students to obtain their M.A. and PHD degrees in the scientific and humanitarian specialties for the academic year (2012-2013).

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research quoted the Director General for the Cultural Relations and Scholarships, Bahaa Ibraheem, as saying that ”The Ministry obtained the final approvals to accept (118) students to grant them the Russian scholarships to get their higher certification degrees in the scientific and humanitarian specialties for the academic year 2012-2013.”

He added that ”The scholarships department notified the universities and the ministries of the state to inform their students that they have got the scholarship.”

Ibraheem called all the accepted students to follow the scholarship department and the Russian Embassy in Baghdad to accomplish their required documents to join the scholarship, pointing that ”The names of the accepted students are published on the official website of the Ministry.”
