Officer’s family murdered eastern Ramadi

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) Five members of a police officer’s family were killed during an armed attack on the officer’s house eastern Ramadi city.

A security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday “Unidentified gunmen dressed in the Iraqi Army uniform attacked the house of Majid Mishal, captain within Qarma Police Center in Anbar province, and opened fire killing three of his family members and injuring two others in Falluja district of eastern Ramadi city.”

“The officer survived the attack as he was not at home at the moment of the attack,” noting that “The gunmen managed to flee to unknown destination while the police transferred the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured persons to the hospital for treatment and launched investigations over the incident,” the source added .
